Men's League · Season Finale
September 23, 2026
After Week 7, the regular season locks. Teams carry headstart points into Week 8 based on their final regular-season standing.
Teams compete in the standard format: Better Ball Net Stableford, 80% handicap allowance, top 4 pairings per team.
Starting Headstart Points + Week 8 Stableford Points
= Final Tour Championship Score
All 8 teams make the Playoff Shootout. The Final Tour Championship Score sets the seeding — Seed 1 through Seed 8 — and the higher your seed, the later you enter the bracket and the more ties fall your way.
Tiebreaker for seedings: if two teams finish with the same Final Tour Championship Score, the team with the better regular-season finish earns the higher seed.
Format: Select-a-Drive Alternate Shot
Both players hit a tee shot. The team selects the better drive, then plays alternate shot from there until the hole is finished.
Pairing Selection
Each team's captain selects 2 players to represent them in the shootout.
Scoring
Each hole is its own game. Scores reset at the start of every hole. On Holes 7 and 8, only the single lowest-scoring team advances. In any tie for the advancing spot, the higher-seeded team advances — the reward for finishing higher in the Tour Championship.
What that means in practice: on Hole 7, Seed 5 only has to tie Seeds 6, 7, and 8 to move on. Seed 8 has to beat all three outright — a tie sends the better seed through and Seed 8 home.
Tee Selection — No handicap strokes. Tees staggered by pairing handicap (avg course handicap × 80%)
Who plays: Seeds 5, 6, 7, and 8.
Result: The single lowest score advances to Hole 8. The other three are eliminated.
Example: Seed 8 must beat all three of the other teams outright to advance — if it ties Seed 5, Seed 5 goes through. Seed 5, on the other hand, only needs to match the low score.
Who plays: The survivor from Hole 7, joined by Seeds 2, 3, and 4.
Result: The single lowest score advances to Hole 9. The other three are eliminated.
Ties again go to the higher seed — and the Hole 7 survivor carries its original seed, so it sits behind Seeds 2, 3, and 4 on any tie.
Who plays: The survivor from Hole 8 against Seed 1, head-to-head.
Result: Lowest score wins the Men's Night Cup and the League Championship. A tie goes to Seed 1.
